Wine News:
Harvest is about over for us ALREADY! We have picked all our grapes varieties except for one. Many thanks to all the Purple Finger Club (PFC) members who helped and to those who offered to help but didn't get a chance to pick.
For PFC's only: If you have worked in 2009 or 2010 as a Purple Finger Club member, remember to save the date for our Harvest Feast on Thursday, October 14 at 6:30 PM. This will be a catered affair...catering will be done by Encore Catering from Catlin. Invitations will be emailed in September.
If interested in helping with harvest next year or during busy times, you can become a Purple Finger Club member too. For your time and efforts, you will get a "bunch" of thanks...discounts, a t-shirt, food, beverages and more! To receive the exclusive invitations to help, send info@sleepycreekvineyards.com an email and say, "I want to be a Purple Finger." There is no obligation to volunteer, how much or little you volunteer is all up to you, and there is no experience necessary.

Tasting Room news:
Check out the new wine glasses, wine charms and other wine accessories in the gift shop. We also have a new line of sarcastic greeting cards and wall hangings. They will make you smile and make great gifts.
We have also added Goose Island sodas in five flavors: Orange Cream, Vanilla Cream, Spicy Ginger, Root Beer and Grape. Make with pure cane sugar and not corn syrup, they are delightful.
Wieners & Wine is every Friday from 5 - 8 PM, weather permitting. Ugh, it's a bit hot for a fire but we aren't letting that stop us! We fire up the campfire and provide hot dogs, the fixin's and marshmallows for you to roast around the fire. Yum! Which wine or beer will you have with your dog?
