Let's stomp the grapes - August 3, 2025 Sleepy Creek Vineyards Grape Stomping Competition
Get your teams together for some Grape Stomping FUN! We are in the mood for a little friendly competition! Are you? The cost is $75 per team to enter, with each team having up to 10 team members each! You may have less than 10 on your team, but that means that someone will have to stomp multiple times. Why you ask? Because we will be allowing each team 10, sixty (60) second intervals to stomp. So that is 10 times that each team will be allowed to stomp for 60 seconds! 10 participants = 10 people stomping for 60 seconds each! 5 participants = 5 people each stomping for two 60 seconds intervals. Each 60 second interval will be timed with a stop watch, with a short stop between stomps! There will be time to change out your team’s stomper between 60 second intervals. The bins will be drained at the end of the event, and the team producing the most volume of grape juice will be the winner!
Waivers will need to be signed prior to Stomping. Must be 21+ to participate. The winning team will get a "Grape Stomp" souvenir and of course, bragging rights! Please note: This is an outdoor FREE event with the exception of the teams competing in the Grape Stomp.

Events at Sleepy Creek are always a treat. This is an outdoor FREE event other than the teams competing in the Grape Stomp. Gravel parking available in front of the winery and gravel parking at the Dragonfly(behind the winery). Wine can be purchased by the bottle or glass, Wine Slushies, Sangria, cocktails, domestic and craft beer, soft drinks, and water are available for purchase. Only the food and alcohol purchased at Sleepy Creek allowed on-site! Please read our FAQ's listed below carefully. NO Refunds.

Seating? Is first come/first served. Groups of 5 or more paid with one transaction will have reserved seating and is subject to forfeit reserved seating if arrival is fewer than 15 minutes before show time. Tables at the Dragonfly sit 10 guests each. Tables at the Winery sit 4-6 guests each. Please note: You will be seated with other guests at the same table. We will do our best to accommodate groups of 5 or more with one paid transaction.
Is the performance inside or outside? All shows take place in our Tasting Room or in the Event Center the "Dragonfly". Please keep noise and extra activities to a minimum to allow performers to do their best work, and so other listeners can fully enjoy the show.
Can I bring my own alcohol? Only the alcohol purchased here is allowed at Sleepy Creek, wine can be purchased by the bottle or glass. Beer, wine slushy, sangria, soft drinks, and water are available for purchase throughout the performance.
Do I need to make reservations? Many of our shows sell out in advance. However, if the show is not sold out, you can purchase seats right before the performance.
What is the refund/cancellation policy? Tickets are non-refundable. However, because our shows often sell out, let us know if you are unable to attend and we will try to resell your ticket if we have a waiting list. Your paid seat is transferrable to another attendee for the same show; seats are non-transferable for future shows.
Are children allowed? Although we are in the business of giving people experiences surrounding wine, this event is for adults over 21+. Some content may not be appropriate for underaged humans.
