A Spring Barn Dance awaits y’all in the Dragonfly event center. Come dance the winter blues away with the best in 90’s country. So dust off your dancing shoes, because Hot Country Nights Band and Sleepy Creek Vineyards (8254 E. 1425 North Rd, Fairmount) are coming together to throw y’all a party in the Barn. These dances are so much fun! Laurie will teach a few basic line dance steps. Grab a partner or some friends and scoot your way to Sleepy Creek.
We are twisting things up with a dummy roping contest. Each contestant will get three chances to successfully rope the dummy, and only one at the end will be the winner. We will provide a couple ropes, but you are welcome to bring your own rope. The winner of each barn bash roping contest will win a Belt Buckle and come back to compete at the End-of-Year Barn Bash Finale. At the finale, the format will be the same… each contestant will get three chances to successfully rope the dummy. Winner takes all. In the case of a tie, we will go with sudden death…. single chances - first one to rope wins! The ultimate champion will win a one night stay for two guests in our Bed & Wine valued at $300.00 plus a bottle of your favorite Sleepy Creek wine.
Band Bio: Hot Country Nights Band has several seasoned musicians performing the best and hottest country hits of the ‘90s. From Alabama and Garth to Billy Ray and Alan Jackson, from Tracy Byrd and David Lee Murphy to Kentucky Headhunters and Confederate Railroad.

Doors open at 6 pm! Contest starts at 6:30 pm! Band starts 8 pm! Line dance lessons with Laurie at 7:30 pm. Food by The Local Restaurant Covington, IN.
Tickets: $10 in advance or $15 (cash only at the door for the cover charge).

Frequently Asked Questions at Sleepy Creek:
Seating? Is first come/first served. Groups of 5 or more paid with one transaction will have reserved seating and is subject to forfeit reserved seating if arrival is fewer than 15 minutes before show time. Tables at the Dragonfly sit 10 guests each. Tables at the Winery sit 4-6 guests each. Please note: You will be seated with other guests at the same table. We will do our best to accommodate groups of 5 or more with one paid transaction.
Is the performance inside or outside? All shows take place in our Tasting Room or in the Event Center the "Dragonfly". Please keep noise and extra activities to a minimum to allow performers to do their best work, and so other listeners can fully enjoy the show.
Can I bring my own alcohol? Only the alcohol purchased here is allowed at Sleepy Creek, wine can be purchased by the bottle or glass. Beer, wine slushy, sangria, soft drinks, and water are available for purchase throughout the performance.
Can I bring my own food? Only the food purchased at Sleepy Creek allowed on-site. You are welcome to bring desserts/cake. We often have food trucks on-site during events and is the only food allowed on-site.
Do I need to make reservations? Many of our shows sell out in advance. However, if the show is not sold out, you can purchase seats right before the performance.
What is the refund/cancellation policy? Tickets are non-refundable. However, because our shows often sell out, let us know if you are unable to attend and we will try to resell your ticket if we have a waiting list. Your paid seat is transferrable to another attendee for the same show; seats are non-transferable for future shows.
Are children allowed? Although we are in the business of giving people experiences surrounding wine, this event is for adults over 21+. Some content may not be appropriate for underaged humans.
